What excites you about the future of your respective sector?
The industry of marketing and media is constantly evolving to meet the needs of consumers and businesses. We were early adopters in the transition from traditional to digital and have enjoyed our work tremendously over the 24 years in guiding businesses and not for profits in what to do when.
Why is participating in the Advisory Council important to you?
I truly believe that it is an honour to have a voice (and ears) at tables that have much smarter more experienced individuals than myself. It is meaningful to have an opportunity to share the knowledge we have specifically from the perspective of businesses within our region that we work with. We have a diversified portfolio of clients ranging from SMBs, too large enterprise, publicly traded companies, government and not for profit organizations. We are able to share their experience at the table on topics that matter to them and hope to inform and influence the direction of COEDC regarding programs, advocacy, voice, representation on issues/opportunities/challenges within our region.
Why do you love living and working in the Okanagan?
The Okanagan is such a unique area. It as been incredible to watch the transition from beaches and peaches to a thriving city with many employment opportunities in public and private sectors. The future is bright.
